Dr. Stephen Young, DO

Dr. Young is a native Floridian born and raised in Eustis, FL. He attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated in 1995 with a Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He completed a one-year internship at the Graduate Health Care Systems in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He then joined the Air Force as a captain, where he was a Flight Surgeon for 6 years. In 2004 Dr. Young completed his family practice residency program at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL and in 2005 started his solo family practice office.

Dr. Young is a licensed and board certified Family Physician. He is an active member of several professional societies: American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Dr. Young feels tremendously blessed to come back to his community to serve. He is often praised by his patients for his medical thoroughness and the amount of time he spends with each patient. He reviews the patient's medical history to aid him in treating the whole patient, not just the acute problem. His patients appreciate the amount of time he takes with them.
